Albert Lee Nichol, age 80, of Uniontown, Ohio, died Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Forest Hill Nursing Home in St. Clairsville. He was born January 22, 1925 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Everett Hayes Nichol and Frances (Peg) Lee Nichol.

Albert was a retired employee of East Ohio Gas Company at Uniontown. He was a member and Elder of the Uniontown Presbyterian Church and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Hayes Nichol; and a grandson, Timothy Paul Lewis.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline Kathryn Repan Nichol; his children, Donna (Les) Holliday of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Paula (Larry) Lewis of Wheeling, West Virginia, Lee (Susan) Nichol of Flushing, Ohio and Philip (Jacki) Nichol of Upper Arlington, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., with Rev. Edward Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
