Obituary

Agnes Evelyn "Addie" Coleman, 89 formerly of Cumberland Run, Jacobsburg died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Forest Hill Nursing Home in St. Clairsville.

She was born January 25, 1916 in Glencoe, a daughter of the late Samuel James Coleman and Elizabeth Anna Hess Coleman.

She was a member of the Glencoe United Methodist Church and the Glencoe Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Thornton, Elizabeth Blattler, and Mary Haught; a brother, William R. Coleman; several nieces and nephews, and a great niece, Kara Gillespie.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Rose Stillion (Russell) of Jacobsburg, Sarah VanDyne (Larry) of Strasburg, Virginia, Hilda Woodard (Galen) of Cincinnati, Jean Gerhardt (Rodge) of Cincinnati, Doris Williams (John) of Senecaville, William Coleman (Linda) of Des Moines, Iowa, Charles Haught (Rae) of Pleasant City, Donald Haught of Pleasant City, James Haught (Sonia) of Byesville, Dale Haught (Sherri) of Cumberland; 13 great nieces; 14 great nephews; several great great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Saturday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Mary Murtha officiating. Burial follows in Glencoe Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation or Valley Hospice.
