Agnes Ellen Brown, 100, of Shadyside, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, Ohio.  She was born February 15, 1924 in Pipe Creek, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Robert and Mary Louise Wright Brown.

Agnes was a bartender at the former Zanzee Bar on Pipe Creek Road and was a member of Old Wegee United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Robert, James and Charles Brown; four sisters, Evelyn Blake, Sarah Saffle, Geraldine Brown and Charlotte Hutchison.

Surviving are her caregivers, Patricia Renshaw and Sheryl Brown and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.  Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
